Saving Money on Your Fitness and Nutrition Products

Here's the deal: You all know that I am an Independent Beachbody Coach, in addition to being a certified personal trainer.  I do this because I love to help people be more and do more.

Because of that, many have you have heard me recommend or talk about different Beachbody products and maybe your interest has been piqued! That's great.

I'm going to share with you something that is going to save you a ton of money.

When you become an Independent Beachbody Coach you save 25% on the products you're already using.  That's the best deal I know of. Regardless of whether you want to try that new workout Body Gospel or Turbo Fire, or you want to get yourself on Shakeology, you're going to save money.

I know a lot of you are fired up (pun intended) for Chalene Johnson's newest workout courtesy of Beachbody, Turbo Fire.

As you may know, it will available for coaches to purchase on June 18th, with public purchase available later.

But I would like to issue a challenge.  The challenge will involve weight loss, inches lost, and cash prizes, so you'll want to get in on this as soon as possible.

I will have details for you by the end of the week, but you will save the most money and get the best head start if you sign up as a coach to get your hands on it before the general public.  The money savings alone is usually about $20 or so between the coach price and the retail price. Why pay more if you don't have to? Think about it.

It is time for the first annual Summer Shakeology Contest 2010!

What's so great about this contest is you can do the workouts you want, be coached for free, and lose weight and gain energy in the process.  And did I mention the cash prize?

Here are the details:

Begins: June 1, 2010

Ends: September 1, 2010

Requirements: Order Shakeology Home Direct and continue until the end of the contest period; contact me to let me know you are in the contest; keep track of your measurements and weight for the 3 month period; log your workouts into WOWY (you can be a free member but you will get more out of being a club member or coach); you must be a new member or coach in order to participate.

What you get: free coaching from me; weekly tips including recipes and workout tips; your Shakeology order also comes with workouts.  If you decide to become a club member, you get 10% off of your online orders; coaches get 25% off of their online orders, so there are ways to save money!

Who wins? The person (one male and one female) who lost the greatest percentage of weight and overall inches.

New Workouts from Team Beachbody Coming Soon

In just a few short months, you will be able to get two brand new workouts from Team Beachbody: Turbo Fire and Body Gospel.

Turbo Fire and a really amped up version of Turbo Jam, and that's an understatement! If you love Turbo, or if you're looking for something new, you'll want to be the first to know when this comes out.

Body Gospel is the creation of fitness trainer Donna Richardson-Joyner.  Her total body workout fuses fitness and faith to take your workouts to a whole new level.

Tony Horton on Kirstie Alley's Big Life

This past Sunday Tony Horton appeared on Kirstie Alley's Big Life.

I have to admit that I have never seen the show before, but I know it must be really difficult to struggle with your weight in full view of the public.

One of the interesting things about this episode is how many infomercial products her buddy, Jim, had bought that had done them no good.  That's the way most people think about infomercial products -- that they are just a bunch of junk and are a waste of your money.

The thing about Beachbody products is that what they claim is totally true.  And you really do get out of it what you put in.  You may not get the body you want after one round of P90X, Insanity, or Turbo Jam, but you keep going.  One of the things I love about Beachbody infomercials is that they are user-generated.  That is, you see the home video testimonials of people who have had success with the products.  And if you simply type the product name into You Tube, you'll get tons more results of people sharing their journey and how things are going for them.

Since Kirstie Alley is a celebrity, she gets the opportunity to have Tony Horton train her right in her home.  Great deal.  For the rest of us, we can get Tony in our homes through his workouts.

If you are ever feeling self-conscious about whether or not you can keep up with the DVDs, Tony says "Bring your best and forget the rest." That's all you need to do.  It's okay to modify the exercises because eventually you will be strong enough to do the moves along with the DVDs.
